# How does the device behave as a DHCP client, and is it uniquely identifiable on the network?

The device broadcasts a unique MAC address, which can be used for identification on the network. Currently, all devices share the same default hostname ("espressif"), though there is potential to make this unique in future updates. While the device does not implement specific methods for DHCP fingerprinting, the unique MAC address provides basic network-level identification.
