# What are the network specifications required for Verv devices?

To ensure a reliable connection and successful onboarding, Verv devices must meet the following network requirements:

#### **Supported Network Protocols & Features**

- Operates on **WPA2-PSK** WiFi security protocol
- Supports **2.4GHz WiFi** band only
- Uses **Bluetooth** for initial device discovery and pairing

---

#### **WiFi Router Requirements**

- Compatible with **4G, and 5G WiFi routers**
- **SSID and password are both required** during the onboarding process
- Maximum length for both **SSID and password is 64 characters**

**Note:** Ensure the SSID is broadcast and the router signal is strong at the device location to avoid connectivity issues during setup.
