Code of Conduct Policy

The Verv Code of Conduct policy is set out below.

3.4 Conflicts of Interest

  • Avoid situations where personal interests could conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of Verv.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest to your supervisor or the HR department.

3.5 Compliance with Laws and Regulations

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Ensure that all business practices are conducted in a legal and ethical manner.

4. Workplace Environment

4.1 Health and Safety

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or practices to your supervisor immediately.
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

4.2 Substance Abuse

  • The use of illegal drugs or the misuse of alcohol or other substances in the workplace is strictly prohibited.
  • Employees must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while performing their duties.

4.3 Professionalism

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are expected. Inform your supervisor in advance if you are unable to attend work.

5. Use of Company Resources

5.1 Proper Use

  • Use company resources, including equipment, supplies, and technology, responsibly and for legitimate business purposes.
  • Do not use company resources for personal gain or illegal activities.

5.2 Intellectual Property

  • Respect and protect Verv’s intellectual property rights and those of our clients.
  • Do not use or distribute any intellectual property without proper authorisation.

6. Social Media and Communication

6.1 Social Media Use

  • Use social media responsibly and in a manner that reflects positively on Verv.
  • Do not disclose confidential information or make disparaging comments about Verv, colleagues, clients, or stakeholders on social media.

6.2 Communication

  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally in all forms of communication.
  • Use company email and other communication tools for business purposes only.

7. Reporting Violations

7.1 Reporting Mechanism

  • Report any violations of this Code of Conduct or any unethical behaviour to your supervisor, HR, or through the designated reporting channels.
  • Reports can be made anonymously if preferred.

7.2 No Retaliation

  • Verv prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports a violation or participates in an investigation in good faith.
  • Any form of retaliation will be subject to disciplinary action.

8. Disciplinary Actions

  • Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination of employment.
  • Disciplinary actions will be determined based on the severity of the violation and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
